Who I am
My name is Gabriela and I’m from Lima (Peru). I live on the border between England (Shropshire) and Wales (Powys), and I have been teaching Spanish in the area for over 9 years to all kind of students.
I studied a bachelor’s degree in Science of Communication at Universidad de San Martin de Porres in Lima, and it was not until I move to the UK when I decided to change my career path into teaching Spanish. I am very passionate about languages, and education is something that has always fascinated me. In 2020 I achieve a master’s degree in Language, Cultures and Translation at the University of Chester. When I finished my degree, I decided to go further, and I completed a specialization course in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language through ELE Internacional and Miguel de Cervantes European University.
I have experience working with students from all levels (beginner, intermediate, advanced). I prepare and provide fun, affordable and personalised Spanish lessons that effortlessly fit into my students’ needs, interests, and busy schedules. My students range from teenagers studying for their GCSEs and A-Levels to adults who are learning Spanish for leisure, travel, or work.
I’d love to meet you and talk about the reasons why you’ll want to learn Spanish and explore how I may be able to work with you towards your learning.
